 A literary oasis in the tropics.

Established in 1983, Mary Who? Bookshop has been a cherished institution in Townsville for over 40 years. Under the new ownership of Katie and Zac Solari as of May 2024, the legacy of dedicated bookselling continues. They are committed to bringing the freshest releases to their shelves and curating a distinctive array of gifts, nurturing a lively literary scene in the tropics. 

Operating hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm 
At Mary Who? Bookshop, we not only sell books but also host author events both on-site and off-site, as well as support and supply reading groups. We pride ourselves on staying ahead of the curve by pre-ordering new releases from publishers worldwide months in advance.
